We will touch many of Colorado’s most famous old mining communities and sample a bit of the terrain that made the miners of the late 1800’s some of the heartiest souls to explore our mountains!  The San Juan Mountains are truly some of the most unforgettable peaks in our country.  Every twist and turn promises a new discovery in the heart of Colorado’s wild and rugged beauty.

Fort Collins, Colorado

This 4 day adventure takes us on a journey through some of Colorado and Wyoming’s most stunning landscapes, from the remote Medicine Bow Mountains and alpine lakes to the world renowned ski destination of Steamboat Springs, and concludes with the famous Trail Ridge Road. We will get to see first-hand some of the open spaces that enticed the early wagon train settlers to endure the hardships of the trail to finally arrive in this slice of heaven.  Our journey will be far less arduous, but not any less scenic and memorable.

This 5 day journey promises an unforgettable experience, combining high-desert landscapes, rugged canyons, ancient history, and thrilling mountain roads. We will explore the vast desert topography, following the same paths as Native Americans and Spanish Explorers as we probe into the far reaches of this stark environment. It’s a true adventure for those seeking to connect with the wild and beautiful heart of the American Southwest.

How often do you get ribs for dinner on a motorcycle adventure? Especially 40 miles from pavement and 75 miles from civilization. Overland Eats brings you 5 star flavor so you can leave the kitchen and pantry at home. But bring your appetite!

OutbackADV prefers dirt over pavement, exploration over endless miles, and small groups so we all eat less dirt.  We combine great riding with adventures in the local landscape via short hikes, alpine lake swims, and poking around in ghost towns, old mines, and historic places.  And at the end of the day we love sitting around the campfire with good food that didn't come from a bag.

While we love camping out we also like our motos as light as possible. A lighter bike is safer, more fun, and makes us all more efficient. So we shuttle your overnight gear for you!
